Social consciousness is a key part of our Company Values, and recently we've been able to demonstrate this through charitable efforts in both the UK and Bulgaria.
In the UK, each year we select a local charity to support, and we have selected Dorset Mind as our pick for 2022. Mental health issues affect 1 in 4 people in the UK every year, including our Unicard team, so we are pleased to help out for a great cause. We will be arranging a variety of fundraising activities and social events in aid of Dorset Mind throughout 2022.

In Bulgaria, following the recent events in Ukraine, our Varna office personally came together to help with donations to support refugees who had arrived in Bulgaria. Thanks to their joint efforts, almost лв5,000 BGN (approx. £2,100 GBP) was raised responding to calls from the Ukrainian Cultural Centre, and the Coordination Centre for Refugees from Ukraine, for medical supplies, food, hygiene products and other basic necessities. The donations were delivered on the 22nd and 28th of March. We are so happy to support this important activity, and would like to thank everyone in our Bulgarian team for their kind-heartedness and the solidarity they showed with the refugees.
