A travel app on which Unicard worked with our partners Solent Transport and Trafi was a winner at the 2024 Transport Ticketing Awards.
For the second year running, the Breeze app was Highly Commended in the category of Best MaaS Initiative at the awards, which were held as part of this year’s Transport Ticketing Global event at Olympia London.
The overall winner of the category was Kyiv City Council.

The Breeze app was developed for the Solent region and is the UK’s first multi-city Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) app. It’s a revolutionary new way to book and pay for journeys across all types of transport, including buses, trains, ferries and e-scooters/bikes. It also acts as a personal travel assistant: helping to find the quickest, cheapest and greenest route.
Unicard’s Rail Suite platform, designed to support rail accreditation, has enabled Solent Transport to sell rail tickets through its Breeze app. You can read more about this here: Solent Transport accredited to sell rail tickets through Breeze app.
Unicard were also back exhibiting in person at Transport Ticketing Global on the 5th and 6th March, where we showcased the Unicard Ticketing Hub, a service designed to simplify and accelerate the deployment of contactless EMV transit schemes, along with our other smart ticketing solutions.
